|

I have a list of keywords for my nich/site of 2000 keywords - which i got using wordtracker.
I wish to submit my site to 100+ directories and also want to get 200+ one way links.
(I probly will outsource this)
I wil have to provide
-anchor texts(3-4keywords)
-urls
-etc..
Where im stuck is in choosing the 3-4 keywords which i will use for my
anchor texts. I wil have to pick 3-4 targeted keywords from my list of 5000 keywords.
This is hard, as from that 5000 list i have 20-30 targeted keywords... and i am just
meant to select 3-4. and i keep getting confused.
What would you advise? |

Why do you want to select only 3 or 4 keywords?
If you've already selected 20 or 30 good keywords, why not use all of them and get links to your 20 or 30 most important pages? In fact, if you were linking to 20 or 30 pages, wouldn't you actually want a whole lot more than 20 or 30 keywords, so you were using a variety of text links and making everything look natural? _________________ Allan Gardyne

Hello Alan, i only can use 3-4 keywords, as this is what the company I am using says i should provide them (I am outsourcing this job) and they ask for 3-4 words.
I would love to use more- 20-30.
So what do you suggest.... use the 20-30 keywords, to be 'directed' at 20-30 individual pages which are keyword rich?
Each page being keyword content rich in for that keyword(h1 tags, title tag, description tag etc) |

Now I understand!

Perhaps you could outsource the task to more than one person or company.

I think it would be even more effective if you linked to 20 to 30 optimized pages and used a variety of anchor text for the links to each page. It would look unnatural to have exactly the same anchor text for every link going to a page.
Ideally, you'd want those links coming from a variety of different sources. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Alan, i was thinking of this......
100+ recip links from relevant, quality sites
- 20 one-way links from good, quality sites
- 200 Directory submissions
- About 4 or 5 article submissions to all the major article sites,
- social bookmarking submissions
Is that a good idea? Any advice or additions?
+ I love your 77ways for traffic free ebook... i printed it, and read it in my bed !
Only problem, i cant find a Stapler thick enough to staple it together!....but great report! |

The density of keyword affects the ranking of your page. The higher the keyword density the higher is your rank so one should always include a 30-40 word paragraph containing key-word rich content, thus increasing the keyword density.
The keywords you have chosen should appear in title, Meta and H tags with some occurrence in the body also. So you should not define Google without putting the word Google in the body of the definition. This means H and P tags should go hand shaking with each other. |

| You can omit the keywords that have low search volumes. And also the keywords with high competition. Misspelt and plurals can also be omitted. Very long keywords are not that good. You may have some repeated keywords, so filter your list. From the remaining lot you can select the best keywords that are relevant to your site. |
