I'm starting to get into keyword research more because I know that it is a way to generate good FREE quality traffic. I've noticed different keyword tools around and WordTracker seems to be one of the most popular...but are the best?...
What would you suggest as the Best Keyword Search Tool from your experience. Thanks! _________________ *Viral Marketing Mix

I have tested many desktop keyword tools like keyword eltie & adwords analyzer. But it has it's own restrictions. But now i use only wordtracker. It gives the keywords that you can't imagine. You can find out competition analysis in a single click. Majority of the desktop keyword tools also have the ability to bring about the competition anlysis for google. It is time consuming and at many instances the tools are not working. Moreover you have the risk of ban from google for misusing their services.
If you want to do SEO or pay per click marketing wordtracker is the best tool in my humble opinion.
Some people using keyworddiscovery.com. But i haven't used this tool.
You may like to have free trial for wordtracker and keyword discovery.
Then you go to this thread here...

| I prefer the Google adwords analyzer and the wordtracker. It gives you a high range of keywords for a keyphrase that you insert and you have the freedom to choose the keyowrd that would complement your website's title and the domain/URL you have. |

Hi,
keyword research will definitely help you gain traffic but not directly. By using the best keyword research tools like the google adwords analyser you can get to know the keywords for a particular site. Now, by selecting the keywords with low competition and high search volume, You can start working with SEO techniques and get traffic to the site.

The Google AdWords tool is good for Keyword Research, but Keyword Discovery is also very useful. It is best to use a combination of tools to get the best overall picture.
For quick checks I use keyword discovery to get an idea of what phrases etc may be appropriate, but then I also run these through the AdWords tool.putonyourgoggles helps to beat the google slap and get great quality score. _________________ Want to know more information about SEO http://www.putonyourgoggles.com |

Use Google AdWord tools a lot but since a month started to use Market Samurai, great tool that also helps you for content, competition analysis and a lot more. Gives you great suggestion and help you to identify your niche. _________________ Nathalie
