It depends on your niche.

Many people recommend directoryofezines.com. Some people give negative opinion for this membership website. I didn't use this website.

The outcome of a solo ezine ad depends upon various factors such as...

1)Your niche,
2)Your offer,
3)Day of the email broadcast,(Monday consider to be less effective)
4)Number of emails sent by the email list owner.

You may succeed in a broadcast to a particular ezine ads. But there is no guarantee for the continuous level of same response.

If you want to use ezine solo ads select a good list and do a list building campaign by giving away good free report. Then you can send offer to these people in your own list.

I hope this helps you.

I am testing out Directory of Ezines at the moment-so I can let you know a little more about them over the next few days (however, only looking for JV partners through them at the moment)

The best way to decide what ezine you would like to advertise in is to subscribe to as many as you can. Then build a relationship with the owner if you like what you see in that ezine. Do you read what they are sending you. Are the ads catching your eye? The best way to develop a JV I think is to do it with someone who sees you are on their database. Build trust.
