thanks for the encouraging words. I'm trying to follow the action guide as much as possible.

What I was looking for was tips on the actual look and feel. ex: is my site easy to read, the homepage, and the overall look.

I'm sure there are improvements I could make to the site that someone with a good eye would notice.

I'm also open to constructive criticism.

I don't think that you need to change the look and feel of the website. I don't know about your content. I have many websites linking themselves to my good article. So i always foucs on building great content for the visitors. Don't worry much about the look and feel. Focus on content. You will succeed.
