Based on your previous experience, have you has better results with natural search engine results or from using PPC programs like adwords, YSM etc.?
I have personally had better results with SEO and have managed to get a steady stream of 6,000 unique visits per day. I have alot of experience with over 10 different PPC programs and I may someday go back to them when I have found a really high converting website.
It's all the matter of targeting the right keywords, designing landing page that aligns to what you say in the ads, your offer, pricing, etc.
For SEO, if you can target the right keywords, you'll also get better results.
In SEO, your effort is limited but when it comes to targeting, you can control that precisely with PPC.
So which one is the winner, I would say both. I usually start with PPC, and then build organic traffic through SEO.
For keywords that I can't rank well in organic (or not yet), I'll cover them with PPC. Maximize the traffic. With a working and running machine, I can't find a reason why you should try one but not the other.
Just my 2 cents. _________________ I help small business owners overcome technology challenges in building their business online.

That's right, PPC is great for testing a market.
And it's instant traffic, so you don't have to wait.
Also with SEO, the people come to content, with PPC you can drive them to a landing page, where you have a high conversion rate. _________________ Just COPY the system from Ewen Chia. http://www.AffiliateKickstart.com

I have had success with both. I had good keyword terms for one site and didn't need to do PPC.
Another site, I had a lot of competition, so I had to PPC to get traffic to the site.
Ideally you want to have a such a good site that you won't have to pay for PPC. _________________ www.MarketLeverage60milewalk.com - Affiliate Marketers Giving Back for Breast Cancer

6000 visitors a day....?
How did you manage that? I know it must have taken time, but what was your guideline strategy?
-incomming links?
-submit your site to directories?
-getting one way links?
-getting reciprical links?
Some body share some guidelines please....
and if you had a keyword list of 1000+, how would you use that, and started to make content for each keyword on a page, how would you do good SEO for that?

I think it depends on what niche you are promoting. If it is a competitive niche you will have better results from PPC. If you have a small niche, you would have good results with SEO for the long run. _________________ www.MarketLeverage60milewalk.com - Affiliate Marketers Giving Back for Breast Cancer
It may sound a bit ridiculous but the fact is that in many instances, organic search engine marketing produces a far better return on investment than pay-per-click campaigns. This study conducted and published by iProspect looks at the return on investment and tracking information provided by companies that outsource both their pay-per-click management and their organic search engine marketing.Findings from the study include:
a)35% of organizations that outsource their natural search engine optimization and also participate in pay per click advertising -- and can measure the ROI of each -- recognize a higher return from SEO
b)42% of search marketers who outsource BOTH the management of their SEO and the PPC campaigns, find that search engine optimization produces a higher ROI.
Unfortunately, the study also showed that 45% of marketers who participate in both natural search engine optimization and pay per click advertising cannot determine whether SEO or PPC provides a higher ROI.After all, everybody invests money where there is impact, but if the place is not determined then confusions start creeping in.
More over there are numerous people who are on the lookout to launch and propel their business to he best of their ability, but lack of funds do pose as an obstacle in their progress.Business tycons blow up billions for a promotional campaign or an advertised commercial, but what happens to those lagging in funds.Well with the growing popularity of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) as one of the cost effective ways to market your business through the web, things have become relatively easier. All you need to do is to spend a few thousands of dollars on a monthly basis and get your job done.Things might not start showing up initially ,but with the passage of time the results are bound to show. You have more visitors showing up to your website and if the website really possess quality content you might just get genuine clients instantly. As it says you need three years to get a business to break even, the same rule applies here.Patience is the key.Implementing proper SEO techniques could bring you loads of customers or clients.
I have always had better conversions from organic search traffic then PPC (search network only)traffic.
As far as PPC goes Google tends to always have a lower ROI for me then Yahoo and MSN. As far as Yahoo and MSN go they tend to filp back and forth for best performing depending on the market.
MSN seems to work a little better for older mature markets and yahoo for younger markets. _________________ Evan Gould
