It is faster to get indexed by posting in forums with a link to your site in your signature. You could also comment on Do Follow blogs.
Write an article about your topic and submit it to ezinearticles.com and include a link to your site in the resource box. _________________ www.MarketLeverage60milewalk.com - Affiliate Marketers Giving Back for Breast Cancer |

Yah, I've been using Yahoo. I noticed that google didn't have anything at all...
I actually noticed that these postings have shown up from a couple days ago!
What weight is given by forum links? I thought I'd give it a try.
Also, I have posted with Ezines and have had a few links pop up but not all... Is there any explanation for that? Are they arbitrary in their decision to list these links or is it a certainty?
Thanks guys...

Forum posting with Sig Links are definately one way to go to get some nice inbound links of value (not PR - unless the forum enables follow and fortunately some do) there are other methods of course... less time consuming, more effective, and transfer PR too. As far as when links show up... Yahoo is pretty quick... Google can take forever it seems and from everything that I've been able to test they may NOT even be displaying all links they've counted to your query even though they are calculated in behind the scenes and influence your SERP.
Finally, you may be able to help the success of your directory link posting efforts by using a service such as Onlywire.com to social bookmark your directory link building efforts to many of the popular SB sites. This can also work for your sig urls within forum postings too. Thats a bit of a "tip" for ya. _________________ Our Top SEO client hit $23M in 2007 and Our

It's pretty simple....
SB = Social Bookmarking Sites - theres a ton of them out there but they can be a pain. Onlywire.com is a service that lets you post a link to several of the top SB sites without having to visit each one, login, post link, etc... so it really simplifies and speeds things up.
You just visit any page you want and then Bookmark it using Onlywire or another similar service. Then the directory page with your link on it, or forum page with your sig, gains backlinks to it from a large number of the top bookmarking sites. This helps the link to your site on the directory sites get found, gain some value, and get followed by the SE's.

I like Jon's stuff too as he usually backs it up with real world testing and he takes a logical common sense approach... though the result usually always ends up being the same - join his 3waylink system _________________ Our Top SEO client hit $23M in 2007 and Our

You can get all you need to know down in an hour. Just go to Onlywire.com and signup for an account. Then you'll be given a list of SB's to join. Once you've done that... then everytime you want to post some backlinks to your site, or pages on a site, you simply click the Onlywire button on your browser while visiting the appropriate page. Takes about 30 seconds and then Onlywire posts that info to all of the SB's you registered for. Really easy and it's a no brainer and low effort required to get some links pointing what ever it is you want to help the SE's find.
Note: I've got nothing to do with Onlywire - there are other services too that do the same thing. You only really need one unless maybe you want to open up multiple accounts and then this would become an entire linking strategy all in itself. Not a bad idea if combined with the other methods _________________ Our Top SEO client hit $23M in 2007 and Our
