What will happen in your opinion with adsense in 2008?
Do you think it will get more popular and more webmasters, users will get really into it, or it will die out and people will move away from it reasons such as low cost or they find something else better.
Thoughts...

Hi Garmah,

Well, one thing that my crystal ball doesn't show is AdSence dieing out Wink I think it is pretty much here for the long term.

I expect Google will do some things that we as publishers wont like, they may even do some things that we do like Smile

Some publishers will find programs that work better for them and move on, most of us though will keep on with Adsence.

Most of us will earn far less than we think we deserve but probably more than others think we should get Smile

My ball grows murky now.

Hi Garmah,

Much depends what Microsoft and Yahoo for instance have in their plans. But if everything goes like in 2007, Google is just in the start of even bigger success and because ads are their main earnings-source, I doubt if they would let AdSense to fall.

Another reason is that AdSense revenue is so important for us small entrepreneurs and the service is so good, that it is really hard to win by some other service provider.

So I keep waiting even better times in 2008!

Regards

Adsense is the king and will always be the king and as long as google makes billions from adsense/adwords be sure that adsense is not going to die out.. Its also going to be fun to see how yahoo will do in 2008 with their own adsense version.. I know they have BIG plans for it in 2008, its grow, make money or die for them if you belive the yahoo "insiders"...

Yes, I think Adsense will be more popular. The more peomon ple get into it, the less likely your ads will get clicked. However, there are things you can do like I did on C and S Mission website. blend your ads background with that of your site. Use all text ads instead of banners--people do not click on banner ads no more! Follow Google tips!

Good luck on your 2008 Adsense
