For me it is writing something, but I vary what I am writing for. It could be blogging, article marketing, email marketing, or forum marketing. This way I do not get bored doing one thing. We do spend some time each day on traffic exchanges as well. _________________ Jeff Schuman

I have really got into article marketing myself. Also Squidoo lenses work well and Google usually finds them fast. Social bookmarking is another productive way to go. I think a better question would be, what to do on a daily basis to get RESIDUAL traffic. If you only spend time to drive traffic, that lasts only a short time, then you will always work for your traffic, and you will always the same about of traffic.
But what you really want, is to spent time in traffic building, and see your traffic increase more and more over time.
So for example simple advertising would not create residual traffic, because the ads only last a certain time usually.
With writing articles and posting them to the article directories, you can get residual traffic, because the articles will bring you traffic for years to come, and each article will add up to your increasing traffic stream...
Also is is recommendable to think BIG, not small. The most rewarding thing is to create a own product, and get affiliates for it. Then THEY will put their time and energy to bring loads of traffic for YOU.
For those that think, creating a product would be too difficult, it isn't.
