I have few question:

-How do we know that a website is SEO friendly or not and how to verify?
-Is there any benefit to SEO by making frequently updating your website every day automaticaly?

I expect few points and inputs from all of you.

Hi montyauto,
I am willing to suggest you to read the best free seo ebook written by Brad calen. It is called as "SEO made easy". If you do a search you can find out number of people distributing it. I am sure you will love this ebook.

If you update your content it is the best spider food for the search engines. It will call the search engine again and again. So you will get higher rankings for delivering new info on the internet. But i am not sure about creating auto content using RSS feeds.

Hi montyauto,

Verify your website with google webmaster central.http://www.google.com/webmasters/

I frequently check the stats over there and it gives a good report whether all url's have been crawled and if any errors occurred.

Also verify with yahoo.

Auto updating your site is not looked on well by google. They even have it in terms for blogger that it is spam.

If you use auto updating you are just adding content fom another site or rss feed and it is not unique so it has no weight.

Updating your site everyday will give you an unfair advantage in the eye of the search engine.

If you provide good content in your niche, your visitors will be delighted and will bookmark your site as well.

Even better, with a blog, they'll subscribe to your feed and hence, you'll have more chance to promote your affiliate products.

All the search engines are looking for unique content which means that auto-updated content is pretty useless. The best thing is lots of good content updated and added to each day.

And never delete anything! The ultimate trick is to make your site as big as possible with many pages and no duplication.

Apart from the fact that it will give your web site a bigger profile, Google especially links the return rate of its indexing spiders to the size of the site.

In other words, a site with 20 pages will get visited less often than a site with 200 pages. And the more often you get visited, the higher your search position will be.

Hi BigMax,

Your points are quite new to me.

I was thinking the logical of them especially to make the site as big as possible with many pages and no duplication, it might be useful to me to give an attention to it.

Just wonder how did you get them. Is that come from your own research?

Mainly observation and bitter experience. Google and the other search engines may keep the finer points of what they do under wraps, but the effect of all the algorithms and scoring eventually shows up.

There may be lots of other tricks yet to be discovered, but that is half the fun of SEO!

I have created several sites with autochanged content. So every time the page was reloaded you received a bit changed content.
In a couple of months these 2 sites completely fell out of google index.
Then, I changed my technique and made a few txt files where I put this generated content. It changed every week or so.
This time it went fine with google.
