I am going to start posting to my neglected blogs, as i have been busy.
They are Wordpress and blogger blogs.
QUESTION:
a)How often should i be posting to the blog, from a Search Engine Optinization point of view.... so it looks like the blog is active?
How many posts a week?/month? Approximatley ?
b) I wish to put keyword articles on each post. How many words approx should these articles be? |

Generally, like all content, it should be as often as you can manage and if that means two or three times a day then do it. (If it means two or three times a week, do that).
Using a site like http://www.blogpulse.com will show -- for chosen keywords -- just how quickly a posting gets recognised, although from experience, "hosted" blogs such as TypePad and Blogger will get more notice than self-hosted blogs, simply because Blog Pulse may not recognise your blog as a blog, even if it is produced by blogging software like Wordpress.
As for length, try to keep it less than 250 words and perhaps use a keyword density tracker like the one at http://www.justwebcontent.com/content-tools/keyword-density/ to keep track. Aim for no more than around 5% on any keyword phrase; I think keyword densities of 15% look unnatural and are hard to maintain.
The general rule is that if it reads well, it will do well: Google's latest algorithim actually reinforces the readability aspect of content, partly because machine-written or even bought-in content is usually rushed and poorly written. JustWebContent.com also have a readbility analyser at http://www.justwebcontent.com/content-tools/readability-analyser/ _________________ BigMax

If you write good post 2-3 good posts weekly are sufficient, more over try to make a reader base. _________________ Micfo International LLC

Stick to a good frequency. Say if you could post twice/thrice a day. Do it regularly without fail. Orlese if you could manage even 3 posts within a week time, maintain that frequency. Generally speaking daily one post would be better and easy to do. _________________ Beating Google Adwords|

I would aim for about three times a week. That updates your blogs frequently but without becoming too much of a burden on you. _________________ Need a Writer?

Hi,
I have found that one post per day will get you a good amount of readers and visitors. People will visit your site everyday if you post everyday because they will be excited about what you have to post next!
Thanks,
