I have a question about duplication.

It is pretty usual when trying to optimize a page, modifying the title or the URL names of your page for a more refined optimization.

As a result you may end up having indexed two pages with a similar content but different urls or titles.

I guess there a duplication issue here, but frankly; I ignore the way to get around this.

How would you approach this problem?

If I am changing all of the urls from one type to another on one large section of my site, I would then use a 301 permanent redirect. Using this will mean that normally your PR will move onto the new urls and it also tells google and some other search engines that you have changed the urls to new ones.

You can also add some text above and below the duplicated content, which may give your page a few extra PR points.
