Some ways to get one way links:
1. Comment posting - post your comment on other people blogs.
2. Press release - distribute to hundreds of media.
3. Forum - you leave your signature of your post.
4. Social bookmarking - only for weblog. Use tag and ping technique.
5. Blog directories - only for weblog. Use blog and ping technique.
6. RSS directories - only for weblog. RSS directories will spider your content.
7. Buy linking - paid service monthly through broker.

www.prweb.com and www.prnewswire.com are best press release distribution services, but they are expensive. You need to incur hundreds of bucks to get best exposure of them. Google definitely be index them.

Blog commenting is useless today. The use of no follow links is dangereously spreading today, a practice meaningless for me.
If you donīt like a comment just donīt let it in, otherwise if you think it relevant, add it and dontīt use no follow.
Does it make sense what i am saying?

I agree with you.
Now Both Blogspot.com and Wordpress.com put "no follow" to all urls of the commenting. So don't waste your time with the commenting for SEO purpose.
