If you have an autoresponder-sequence running, what is the average income per signed-up user you get?

10 cents,
50 cents,
a dollar?

If collecting email-adresses is so profitable, how profitable is it exactly?

Well...I really don't know if I HAVE earned anything from my opt in courses! I've only collected a little over 100 names though. I remember one guy saying that he had a list of 10,000, and after sending one mass email, he made about $400! Based on that ONE email, he made about 4 cents per subscriber (assuming my math is correct Wink ). Not bad at all...it shows the profit potential of a large list.

I have never really tracked that because I use most of my email efforts to build the list relationship building at first.

I certainly market to my list off and on every month, but my efforts are on getting people comfortable with me. To do that I make most of my email messages educational first and sales oriented later.

All lists are not created equal.

A hyperresponsive list will yield much higher income than a low response list.

Hyperresponsive lists can be created by:

1. Having a very targeted list

2. Creating a good, solid, relationship with your list.

Provide value to them.
Educate them.
Do not just pitch one thing after another at them.

Treat your list like you would like to be treated.
Treat the list like gold.

Hope this helps.

ps)the 10 000 list you mentioned would be a low response list.

$400 with a 10000 list is a low yield. But of course that depends on the offer, timing, the responsiveness of the list and many other factors. A responsive list typically yields $5-$10 per subscriber per year on the average.

I have always heard from the Gurus that you can on average make $1/subscriber per month. Thats what I have always heard, but don`t know for sure.

Thats probably with a highly responsive list.

I would have to agree with enlightenedreviews. T housands of emails doesn't really yield that much unless they belong to your target market. And you must not only send them emails to advertise or spam, it is really advisable to build a good, solid, relationship with your email base. Your single email must be very informative and catchy so as to entice your recipients to try out what you are offering them. Smile

I found that my subscribers location makes a big difference.

People in th US have a lot more money than Pakistan. Subscribers on my list from the US buy 20 times more often on average than subscribers in Pakistan.

With that said if you can make $1 per month per subscriber you are doing well.

I'm still in the phase of getting my customers to trust me. I'm not sure when I should start selling to them actually. I'm working on making them very targeted so that I can make about $1 per subsciber. That would be great. just 100 subscribers is $100 per month! That's just simple math though, and much more would go into it...

That 1$ per subscriber is probably only valid for some markets. I think the basic trick is to give the people tons and tons of massive actual value and then to sell them high-ticket stuff. You need to do both. Also be honest and seriously test the offers you send out. You can always add more product endorsements to your autoresponder. Just make sure you stay honest and the most helpful you can possibly be.
