Has anyone used article bot? It sounds like a great SEO tool. It's acutually a language manipulation tool in that it creates articles in any language and that it creates articles for your web page from zero footage.
I was reading what it does at their home page and one thing caught my attention was that it would re-write article.
Adding new contents to your site is very important and it's also a time-consuming job. Quite often, when I found a good article, it's copy-protected. Yes, you can re-write it yourself so that it would look like you wrote it ,but it's a time-consuming job. Article bot re-writes article in many different ways and you won't be able to tell( or hard to tell) which article was written by a human and which one was done by article bot.
So, if you found a good article and if it's copy-protected, you ask article bot to re-write it and you pick the one you like. None of the re-written article looks like the original, so you don't have to worry about copy right issue.
I thought it's great tool, but I need some feedbacks from some actual users.
Thanks. |

Wait a minute. You're telling me there's software out there that could take my writing, that I slaved to create out of my own knowledge and skill, and it will just rewrite it and let you post it on your website without it being a violation (yet) of my copyright?? That sucks! And morally, it's theft, whether you can snag it in court or not. Unless I misunderstand the purpose and use of this thing, it might seem like a great opportunity initially but it will discourage people from writing quality articles or posting original material on the internet for fear of it being ransacked.

Starhugger,
ALL knowledge is an accumulation of other thinkers before us. Everything one writes from memory is just a collation of other peoples ideas, etc. If I were to sit down and extract the main ideas from other articles and then combine them in my own style, it is considered "original" and not plagiarism. You've done it yourself, I'm sure.
Just copying whole chunks of someone else's effort is not acceptable. I think there is come magic figure of 20% that can be copied without infringing copyright. That may be Australian law - or just an error on my part.
We have had a copyright discussion before!! Try a search.

Hi Wally,
Yes, I realise that's true, but in that case it is at least being filtered through a living, breathing individual's personal experience, knowledge and perspective. It feels different to me when it's a computer program whose only directive is to take others' ideas and reword them without a living context, for exploitive purposes. And yes, I realise that humans can do the same thing and I'm sure not all of them are filtering it through much that they can call their own. I'll have to check out the other discussions on copyright later -- when I can take time from my writing!!

I am thinking of trying out ArticleBot. I can't find any solid reviews on it yet, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I don't plan on stealing content from other folks. But I do think it can be a useful tool... if used correctly.
My thoughts on it?
I'll let you know if I buy it. Right now, I am keeping my ideas hush... if they work, I'll let you know how they went (and what I did). _________________ Eric D. Burdo

Hi guys,
i was thinking about buying ArticleBot as well. What drives me crazy about my keyword list is that eventually I have to write 10-20 times about the same topic (similar keywords) annoying isn't it? Wonder if this program can reduce the amount of work at least 50%. One original article, one rewritten
What concenrs me is that thier site looks like a joke, so do the excamples of sites created with ArtcleBot. Or do you think they are just people with a sense of humour and I am a bit crazy? _________________ Good luck to you all!

Nope... ArticleBot. Started by Don somebody (can't remember the name).
Here is the link (non-affiliate): http://www.articlebot.com/
I am returning my copy. I am a tech guy, and I spend several hours doing manual patches to get the program to install. And while it looks impressive, I can generate unique content just as easily by buying it or writing it. I am not fond of the "Convert keyword list to unique articles" approach. *shrug* _________________ Eric D. Burdo

I was also unimpressed with Articlebot. I thought the instructions were unclear, and I feel like I could knock out writing some great original content myself a lot faster than learning how to repackage other people's content. And I can feel good about actually adding some value to the internet instead of adding clutter. _________________ Affiliate Marketing Programs Blog

I was looking at it, but when I looked at their tutorials, they seemed like a very labor intensive way of doing things.
I you use articlebot on the sentense above to change it, you'd looke up each word in their thesaurus to change it with different words.
I can do that manually qucker
"I was checking it out, but after I looked at their instructions, it appeared to be a very laborious method of creating content"
Two sentences above would be an example of what they do with a complicated process, that you can do in your head very easily, or if you need help, use a word processor like MS Word with its built in thesaurus.
Their program also creates page of "scraped" content, but it is basically links. I don't put links on my site unless I am paid for them or the really fit my content.
After watching all of there tutorials, I couldn't justify $49.99 a month for the program. _________________ Bob |

Well , I must admit... I tried it for a month... it was a killer to get the hang of it, but after a while it went very fast. For Google it wasn't very good, but MSN and Yahoo were eating the pages like a maniac...
And then I throwed the pages out and cancelled.
It is not my style.
BTW it is not just about scraping. Try e.g. some product endorsement: I like
my new boat from Brand Y" etc. then the next one is "He liked his new boat from BrandZ" etc. spend some time on this and zooooof you have hundreds of pages that are not identified as duplicate content.
It sure works.... scared the ... out of me!
Cheers
