I noticed a few months back the traffic on all my sbi sites decreased dramatically over night. Checking the Search Engine HQ I found that they had all been dropped from Inktomi and MSN.

I emiled Sitesell support who assured me that these things happen and each site would be submitted automatically in accordance with various SE rules. Having checked the last few days they had all been spidered and indexed again but then competely dropped again within a day or 2!

As all the sites are related to health/fitness all contain at least one page that appears on another of my sites, that I've just copied. I'm thinking this is the problem and MSN/Inktomi are penalizing me for duplicate pages. Any opinions?

If this true surely it must affect thousands of affiliates who cut and paste articles published by their merchants for affiliate promotion.
