I have been reading the Google cash ebook and am wondering whether the following is still applicable.
Towards the end of the book there is a note for international users searching on google.com, stating that if you are outside the U.S you will not see adword campaigns that viewers in the U.S see.
A link is provided enabling you to view the ads that U.S viewers see. When I click on this link however I get a cannot find server page.
Does this method still apply or is it outdated now? _________________ Check out my blog. Just started it, and testing the water to see how it goes.

| It would depend on whether the Adwords advertiser chooses to only display ads within the US or globally... ? |

Also, you can join AdSense and download a tool which shows you which ads are displayed to people in different countries. _________________ Allan Gardyne

I never knew that. I'm already signed up to adsense and using it. I'll go and have a look for that tool now. _________________ Check out my blog. Just started it, and testing the water to see how it goes.

Thanks Allan. Been playing with the adsense tool all morning!
I also want to know if anyone has any comments on the difference between the Google Cash ebook compared to Greg Haslin's Google Adwords 1-2-3 ebook?
Do they offer the same info, or are they different methods? _________________ Check out my blog. Just started it, and testing the water to see how it goes.

I am not sure about the Google Adwords 1-2-3 ebook. I own only Google Cash. It's still valid in its general assumptions, but it seriously needs to be updated. The problem is that Chris Carpenter (the author) seems to ignore any e-mails from his customers. In November last year he promised an update to be available in January this year and it was the last time that I've heard anything from him, even though I emailed him a couple of times (even last week). He also ignored any questions regarding his adwords mentor program. Generally speaking, his level of service is far from the quality of the book itself. So, if you could find a more up-to-date book, you should probably go with that one.
That said, I'm doing quite ok with adwords right now and it all started with Google Cash. However, it took me quite some time to establish my own methods of setting-up campaings.

I have just purchased adwords 123, and find it an easier read, and easier to understand than the google cash book. Just personal preference I suppose.
One thing I am thinking of doing is buying of the keyword analyzer tools that is suggested in both google cash and 123. They both promote different makes of software which do exactly the same thing.
I have found a different one, which people seem to rate better from the reviews i've read, called keywords analyzer I think.
What does anyone else think to these sort of tools.
n.b the ones I am talking about are:-
adwords equalizer
adwords analyzer
keyword analyzer
Just to be fair I've named them all, so no body thinks I'm selling for any of them! _________________ Check out my blog. Just started it, and testing the water to see how it goes.

I use adwords analyzer - it's the first that I found (through Google Cash), I've heard about the other two, but as I already purchased AA, I stayed with it.
In regard to AA - it's ok, but it has its flaws. First of all, its interface is a bit clumsy. I don't like the way it displays competing ads and the filtering of results is not as easy as it should be. It will also overwrite a file without warning. It does not display PPC cost for Overture. I could carry on with this list. However, it does its task and it saves me many hours in research - without a question. But it definitely could be substantially improved.

when you are using your keywords, however or where ever you get them. How many do you have in each ad group? _________________ Check out my blog. Just started it, and testing the water to see how it goes.
