Hi everyone,

We're doing a survey to find out what the biggest questions people have about AdSense. Then we're going to answer as many of the top questions as we can in our Mini-Course, 'Dollars and AdSense."

I'd really appreciate if you take a moment and let us know your most important question. Just go to:

==> http://about-adsense.com/survey.html

Very appreciated.

Audri: I received my first issue of your newsletter this morning and I found it very informative. Keep it up, please.

I suppose the obvious question about AdSense is why are we being turned down? I've tried three times, each time changing the site to fit. But to no avail. I can only imagine they have a minimum level of page impressions for inclusion. Is this so Question

No one really knows the answer to this. If you've been rejected three times, I'd wait until you have at least 100 unique visitors a day and 50 pages of good content. You won't earn that much anyway until you have some traffic, so you're not wasting your time doing this.

Hi Audri,

I just finshed reading the fourth e-mail in your Google Adsense series and wanted to thank you for your generosity in sharing the information.

I recommend the course highly.

John,
Just a thought, but when I looked at your site, particularly the home page, its all links and images ... no content for Google to check out.

Each page of your site needs text content for search engines to feed on, and in particular your home (entry) page needs to be able to be indexed by search engines.

The amount of text should be in the 300 to 450 word range at the minimum. Use <h1></h1> <h2></h2> heading tags, some bold text, and of course keywords/phrases in those as well as some links.

As far as Adsense goes, Google's bot needs to know what your site is about, and text is where it learns. Good Luck!

John

Your site has a PR of 0. I'm no expert on Adsense, but I have checked a lot of sites that have been rejected and all of them have a PR of 0 including my own site.

Coincidence? Maybe. But I think it's a safe bet to say that having a PR ranking over 0 is a basic requirement. If a site is generating heaps of traffic with a PR of 0 they might consider it, but for most 0 PR means thats the ball game.

Think about it. PR is googles way of measuring relevance. Why wouldn't they use that for Adsense? it would be foolish not to.

So I am waiting until I have a PR ranking on my site before I submit again. I'll be willing to bet good money that it will be accepted then, all other things being equal.

I guess I'm the only person that isn't receiving that About-Adsense newsletter or course. I will now though! Very Happy

Yea, I second that point about that one site being all images. Google can't spider those images for text.
