I can?t seem to make my other google adwords campaings make any money at all. So far my expenses and my experiments have been payed by one single campaign, nothing else seems to be working. My CTR is S%& and the best i have gotten is something like 2.0. Does somebody here recommend any education material or specialized google adwords forum to improve results.
I am willing to invest in this.
thanks

It's not unusual for most AdWords campaigns to be losers, you just have to be good at cutting it off after the experiment fails, and you also have to be good at ramping up the successful ones once they prove to be steadily profitable.
Perry Marshall's "Definitive Guide to Google AdWords" helped me, so does the AdWords Mentor membership site. _________________ Dennis, MDM Sports

Andrew Goodman's "Google Adwords Handbook" is excellent also.
Hope this helps,

Thanks for the replies,
I guess a smart question to ask is when do you stop your campaigns, When do you decide that this is done. I have one campaign that is turning in profits all the time. The rest of them I?ve even spent about 50 bucks at 5cents a click without seeing a single sale.
I?m promoting big payout affiliates but they haven?t been converting at all,
What?s up with that. _________________ Dahunter

The problem is, the success of a campaign has at least as much to do with a person's ability to set up a direct marketing machine (starting from the landing page and possibly incorporating list building), as it does to do with keyword selection or ad writing.
As a result, it often depends how much effort you're prepared to go to test and track. Most people are very lazy and just slap something up, only to complain that they don't get rich.
Whether a merchant is converting, includes how long it takes and how well they track. Could email follow ups with your visitors help? Are you sending them directly, or would a landing page of your own help increase merchant CRs?
Plenty of questions, all of which need testing before you can abandon a campaign with confidence.
Hope this helps,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."
