Hi everyone,
I started using Site Build It three weeks ago. This is my first time building a website. I would like to know what you think of my progress (or lack of) so far.
I was very impressed with your site. The quality content, writing style, and easy flow of the navigation. Very nice job.
The only thing I noticed (and I had to click back to be sure) was that several pages you list tips and suggestions as
Number one
Number two
and on other pages you have
1.
2.
etc
Go with one numbering style for the entire site, it helps keep the consistency strong, which provides a sense or feeling of comfort to your visitors.
Very well done

Hi Mantius,
Welcome to the board.
Nice, in fact very nice
I can't find anything about your site to criticize. Keep it up mate, and don't forget there are plenty of SBI'ers here if you need, or want to give help.

Hi Mantius,
Excellent site. Very clean looking.
I especially like the layout of your songwriting-books page. But, when I was finished looking at it, I wanted to return to your home page. It took two clicks to get there.
You might want to consider placing a link to your home page on that page. It's up to you, of course.

Hi Mantius,
I echo the former applause. Good looking site.
My only suggestion is to standardize all your links -- some are lower, case, some upper, some mixed. Also refer back to your home page consistently by its keyword name (I've read that you get SEO points for that).
I agree with Robert, links to your home page should be on every page of your site, to help your visitors find their way home when they get lost
If you have a sitemap (highly recommended when you start leaving pages off of your home page table of contents and/or navigation bar) which lists all the pages of your site, you may also opt to link to that as well.
On the inconsistent capitalization in your links, I believe Oran was referring to your home page table of contents. I noticed that most are all caps. Keep in mind many SE's won't consider listing you if you overuse caps in the page title of the html which is where SBI gets the link titles from for those links. Only use caps if the word is normally capitalized within a sentence, or if it begins a new sentence. SE's also like to see punctuation at the end of your page title and descriptions.
Hope this helps,

Hey Mantius,
Excellent site... nice, clean, well organized! Excellent content too! I'm going to be having some of my friends in the music industry here to look at it... In fact, I'm going to have my daughter, Zaura, take a look at it... she is connected to a whole bunch of singers and musicians and might be interested in writing a song or two herself!
I liked your About Us page... but I have to disagree with you about a major point... The Dominican Republic IS the most beautiful island in the Caribbean... and I'm not biased
