You know how many of Jame's 1st-in sites have a little box with say three or four articles in it that he puts on every page of the site? He seems to use them like product pages in a sense in that all the pagerank of all the articles on the site is being directed to them as well as the 5-6 actual product pages. I've been doing it like that but have been thinking lately maybe it would be better to lose the link to the three articles on every page and let the total article pr be directed soley to the 5-6 product pages (and index page). What do you guys think or do?

For me, it all comes down to deciding which pages you are trying to SE-optimise and which pages you expect people to reach via internal nav links links from the landing pages...

Concentrate on directing PR to the first category, but not the second, in my view.

Cheers,
Charlie.

Thanks Charlie, I appreciate your reply. I think I will stick to directing pr to just the product pages.
