I just recently bought an ebook Turnkey Secrets Revealed. There really wasn't very much info in this book, but it had some links to reseller sites that looked interesting. I don't know very much about reseller sites. When I search affiliate forums I don't find very many posts about them. I am wondering if it is because they don't usually work out for the reseller? If anyone has insite they could offer me or has had good experience with a company that offers reseller sites, I would appreciate the feedback...
In a large portion of cases, reseller rights and turnkey solutions (especially when combined), seem to create a disproportionately large quantity of lookalike sites with little or no distinguishing factors.
When this happens, it is hard to promote yourself as being unique or different, and can be difficult to make money.
I am not saying it can't be done, just that my feeling is you can make money faster with a niche and promote it for it's uniqueness.
Just my 2 cents,

As a potential reseller, you want to be looking at products that sell well but have few if any other resellers. Unfortunately these are hard to come by - and more expensive.
The cheaper kind (as often used in marketing) are sometimes little more than a clever way to get other people to pay to do the viral marketing for the merchant. Good if you are the creator - not so great if you are the reseller!
If you do buy the rights, I suggest you build a unique package of quality products to complement it (and make it stand out from the original). Some people make a great deal of money by reselling quality products, but there are issues to consider... you will have to set up and receive payments; you will have "ship" the product; you will have to handle customer support.
This is a subtle but important difference from affiliate programs, and not everyone is happy to go this route, even if they have the targeted traffic. This is a decision only you can make.
If you want to learn more, two good resources are...
Charlie said it better than I and hit the nail on the head in my opinion:
