I have been working on my home page for some time now, and I have a question for the pros. Each time I work on my home page I have to start over to cut and paste my efforts. Why does it not automatically save your work, or is there a save button that I am missing?
Ed is absolutely right. Previewing your page won't save it, building it will. And, since it's your home page, go ahead and build it. It can takes months to get indexed so your page doesn't have to be perfect today.
When SBI submits your pages to the SE's ... they don't send the actual page, only the url. Then the SE bots come crawling when they want to and they then read the page. So you have tons of time to get that home page perfect
