Hi Alex,
How are ya? The second site is definitley an improvement on the first and loads faster for some reason. But there are a couple of things I would modify. Firstly I would reconsider reworking the HFS logo at the top of the page. There is too much blank white space that is distracting to the eye which could be better utilized. The colors work well but I think the colors on the first graphic are sharper and more defined. I would suggest that you use a blue for your links instead of navy and maybe changing the page size so you don't have to scroll across. Apart from that the website looks very professional.
Good job!

This website does indeed look very professional. For some reason it took a while to load for me on my cable modem so maybe look at the size of the page.
Also, you might think about stretching to fill the whole page as I see a big white space on the right side. Not sure what Declan is talking about scrolling, as I only had to scroll down. _________________ Jack Mitchell

thanks.... it's designed for 1024 screen resolution....
today there are only 20% with a resolution smaller than 1024....
the reason for the long loading is the navigarion....
about 90 small images - will work on a text version.
thanks for your compliments and ideas...

Alex,
I forgot to say that I was viewing in 800x600 which I think most people (apart from publishers or web designers) set their screen resolutions to. With redesigning a site you always find parts you can tweak and modify weeks after you have apparently finished working on it!
Best of luck,
