Those stats are reported by the Webalizer tracking that my web host provides.

I've seen better tracking. For example, I prefer Urchin. It's very expensive if you buy it individually, but can be cheap if your web host provides it.

I think the days are numbered for Jame's sites.

I had to come to this realization about two months ago, But Allan's tutorial in the latest newsletter today really confirmed it for me.

Allan said : "My only criticism is that he's a little brief in one aspect ? researching and writing articles. I'd prefer to see more emphasis on building USEFUL sites rather than sites designed to be found in search engines."

And thats the problem with James martell's sites. They are designed purely to manipulate search engines. the information contained within any of James sites is not very usefull to the potential consumer. Obviously for James they work well, cos people pass thru his sites quickly either by clicking a Google ad or clicking an affiliate link.

Maybe thats why hes losing rank, I think the guys pulling the strings at the major SEs have got wise to the his "content rich" but "content useless" sites.

I think Allan is right in saying that to stay in this business you need to build usefull sites, rather than hiring high school kids to write loads of crappy article pages that have no real information in them.

If you wanted to buy a Portable DVD player would this article help you : http://www.1st-in-audio.com/5937-portable-dvd-players.html

"They can fit into a briefcase and travel easily without taking up much space."

WOW Ive really learned something new here, you can put a portable DVD into a briefcase and still have rooms for other items !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't say the days of his sites are "numbered." They still perform very well. If you study his top performing sites, he is making the content better and adding newer material to "flush" out the lower quality articles.

His newest sites that he discusses on the buzz are certainly leaps and bounds above his 1st-in-sites.

Fred, you've added another good point to my list above. The "feel" of his sites is very disorganised somehow, much of the contect seems very superficial. No one can churn out the number of sites he does and still keep them fresh, deep, and useful

But robert is also right - his sites are doing well. And Im not sure Id call it 'manipulating' the SEs. He does offer some sound advice. And he is still a good alternative to SBI.

I too am waiting to see the reason for his lowered ranking. Its way too early to judge, but as I said earlier, IF there is something he recommends that Google is now rejecting, I wouldnt be promoting his book. Id want to be confident that this was just a 'hiccup'. It may or may not be a serious thing at all.

BTW robert, what are his "newest sites" ? Id be curious what he is doing differently.

I think he's kind of keeping his new sites where nobody knows they're his. I think he was getting frustrated with people copying him, and stealing his content... so, he's had to go "underground," more or less... so, I doubt anybody even knows much about his new sites.

Though, in his last few audio newsletters, he has seemed upbeat, and has even gone on to say his websites have been more successful than before. Now if that is just being optimistic, or what.. I really don't know, but from the people who do know him, he seems to be an honest enough fella.

So, I guess he figured out the problem and is doing better than he was before...

Umm, isn't that the idea? I don't know about your strategy, but I don't want folks hanging around doing nothing. I want them to leave via Adsense or an affiliate link.

One problem: search engine algorithms can't distinguish between good, useful content and bad, useless content. Heck, most people can't.

And yet he continues to makes millions, year after year. LOL, you folks crack me up.
