Is there any idea of when this will go live?
I love what I see for a couple of my sites. _________________ Business Owners Guide to Going Online What every business owner needs to know about going online |

According to a Norwegian IT-newssite, the MSN search engine is launching tomorrow. The preview site is taken down. I suppose we will all experience significantly increased traffic during the next days. _________________ DatabaseDesigner

But how about searchers?
Surely much of Google's remarkable success is down to the quality of their listings. This in turn is due in part to Google's ability to keep it's algo from being exploited too much.
I can see why some "webmasters and SEOers" might find this annoying, but surely it holds Google in good stead overall.
Cheers,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."

That?s a good point. When I do searches I like to see relevant quality results, just as most searchers would. If I do searches for my hobbies on Google, it gives me relevant good results. I don?t find this on the other ses. This is what I was meaning on my above post also.
Kidino, I built a site as a test and crammed it full of keywords, it got yahoo traffic. I don?t think Yahoo comes close to the results of Google. I have a site on 3dfx stuff. I built it ages ago with a friend using php. It has no seo, and I knew nothing about links etc at that time. However, the site draws in 3000 visits a day from Google alone. It doesn?t make any money as it?s not designed to. I believe it?s a quality site for the audience though, and that?s probably why it attracts links from other technical sites, and in return, enjoys free traffic from Google.
Warm regards

Quite true ... I think when building links, there always two ways ...
1 - Look for it - Link exchange, buy ...
2 - Good quality content - links will come naturally
Maybe that's the difference ...
Anyway ... about MSN going live ... I saw quite good rankings for my sites during the beta, but I don't see it a MSN.com - supposed to be live by now. _________________ Iszuddin Ismail aka Kidino

The problem is Yahoo and Google like two different things. Google favors inofrmation more whereas Yahoo favors things to buy. Obviously I like Yahoo better heh _________________ Jack Mitchell

| If Yahoo favors sales, then why is it that they clearly state they are not interested in having pure affiliate sales sites, which they feel offer nothing substantial to the internet? |
