I hope someone can assist me, or point me in the right direction.
I know what I want my logo for my site to look like, but I have absolutley no idea how to create it.
Does anybody no of any sites that can asisst with logo creation?

Since this is the go it yourselfers forum, I presume you dont want to get someone else to do it for you.
I personally struggle with graphics as I am more coder orientated. Although I am getting better. The key is Practice, Practice, Practice!
To create the logo you are going to have to use an image editor. Such as photoshop, fireworks, paint shop pro. A lot of these programs are pricey. Download the trial before making any purchasing decisions. Then search google for tutorials on the program you have and you can learn from there.
If you want to get someone to design your logo for you, hehe had to add that, you can goto www.designoutpost.com and post up a contest. A few designers with give you logos and you choose the best one to win the competition. They also do templates there. The logos are awesome quality and very professional. I just got one done recently and am very pleased with the results.

Hi Brett -
You can also try gotlogos.com for a $25 logo. My company creates custom logos and graphics starting at $25 (custom graphics are more).
Be careful to spec out what you need - it's not cheap if you get the wrong graphic for an affiliate site. It can end up costing you more if it's not optimized or scaled properly for your site.
So just make sure your order matches your needs.
