Post subject: Overture advertising policy
|
|
|
Hi,
I have looked into the listings at Overture in theses topics: Casinos, Sportsbooks and adult subjects, and noticed that there are no "real" listings about these subjects. For example, the top listing for casino is for a "beat the casino" ebook for 30 cents. What's going on? has overture set a new policy not allowing casino and aduld sites to promote themselves?
Can anyone shed some light?
Thanks

Hi Ron,
Overture announced back in April that it was no longer accepting online casino ads. You can read about it here:

| Quote: | | The move, which the companies said would go into effect by the end of April, comes as U.S. prosecutors are threatening action against American companies that do business with Internet casinos that are based abroad. |
