Anyone who?s been using them has any feedback? I notice they have a 99.552% uptime, which seems a bit on the low side. Perhaps enough to boost your chances of getting dropped from Google?
Btw, is there a directory of low cost hosts on Allan?s site? I did a few searches, but could not find one.

No. The nearest to that would be the discussions on this forum. _________________ Allan Gardyne

I have one minisite hosted with them for the last few weeks. They were under some kind of attack for about two hours early this morning. My site was definitely down.
From their forum, I gather that this sort of thing has happened several times before as well. That probably explains the low uptime.
They claim that they were probably attacked by site owners whose sites they shut down for various reasons - spam, copyright violations, etc. I'm a relative newbie - and am wondering if this sort of thing is a norm in the industry? Does it happen frequently with other hosts too?
Anyway, I have a ton of mini sites planned and I'm sure looking around for other good hosts. No sense in sticking with someone who seems to get knocked down every so often, for whatever reason.

Planet Ocean's "The Unfair Advantage book.." lists reliable good, web hosting as one of the six most important things to take care of in putting up a commercial website, basically due to the risk of getting dropped from the major SEs. And of course, if you're a serious commercial site, you visitors definitely expect you to be up all the time, but perhaps this isn't so much of an issue with small affiliate sites.
99.552% uptime means in a year, you can expect your site to be down for 39.2 hours (!!) That's a LOT, from what I know.
All the more reason to not use Dayanahost.
While on this topic, do hosts stick to the uptime guarantees they quote in their sales pitches? Like 99.99%, etc? (Even that means 53 mins of downtime in a year, but maybe we should live with that). Perhaps the only host who claims to have AND actually delivers 100% uptime is SBI...though SBI is not a solution if you want to create dozens of minisites.
