Just did a google search for "photo of larvae of the mayfly genus stenacron." and you come up number two. Right after some Google page of course. So your technique seto be working, now I guess the secret is to get thousands of people to search for "photo of larvae of the mayfly genus stenacron."

That business about a target audience is very true. I only get 10 or so visits on some of my sites but I still get clicks and sales because those that come are the ones that are interested and not just stumpling around.

Nice post Troutnut. Very good points. I haven't ever given much thought to how powerful secondary phrases could be in generating traffic.

I just read a report the other day, that many of you might have already seen that really gets to the heart of long-term traffic.
And it goes back to exactly what Allan said:
Post useful and interesting content. Can't remember if he also said this, too, but if not, I would add "that is a unique angle other sites don't cover" and is on a site that is easy to use.
I think it's great that after a slew of tricks and gimmicks to get traffic that as marketers we're now being FORCED to use the long-term strategies that people like Terry Dean and Jim Daniels taught way in the beginning!

Actually,
If you read Evoy's Tao of SEO, he talks about many things this new report talks about.
I haven't used Evoy's tools in a while so I don't know how they fit into the big picture now, but that PDF is a great read. |

posting comments on news , regular posting in 50 to 60 forums a day and leaving your feedback whereever whenever possible on internet may help you to get 500 visitors but you have to work whole day for it

Article is really great.
I registerd a domain name with godaddy, and the first month, I got 400 visitors only by submitting articles.
The second month, I was already at 1000 visitors.

I use one-way and reciprocal links
and article writing to my two blogs
( Blogster and WordPress).
Blogs bring over 100 visitors per day
( especially WordPress,
which gets high PR at Google)
and the rest comes from links.
I don?t know if this is good but
I am quite satisfyed.

Agreed. However, you can also make a ton of money by going after general traffic and having people self-sort via some sort of gateway page.
For example, on one of my sites - after someone subscribes, on the confirmation page they are asked to select from radio buttons they're primary area of interest. Then based on what they select they are taken to landing pages with an article or review specfic to that area of interest.
Next step will be to take them into specific autoresponder funnels based on interest they select.

I believe that it is true, I made 4 sales in a raw with 4 emails with a tiny list of 50 subscribers.
A very good niche.
I hope I will be able to do that again.

Getting 500 visitors a day takes time, but if you are just starting out, try buying traffic using traffic exchanges and purchase 10,000 hits, and then manage it so that you get 500 hits a day.
