Post subject: How to generate revenue - a list of ideas
|

John Rhodes has compiled an impressively long list of ways in which you can generate revenue on the Internet.
Affiliate programs are just one method in this long list.
Many of the ways to generate revenue can be used in conjunction with an affiliate-driven site.
Here's his list of ways to generate revenue:

Chances are, there are some ideas here you haven't explored. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Great list if I don't say so myself. It validates our business case for two (maybe three) of our services. His top recommendation is Banner and Text Ads, which is why we created our AdJungle.com service. And his number 3 idea is Classifieds, something we have been providing since 1996.
We missed the second item since we were concentrating on the banners and did not devote time to RSS ads, but we have thought about going that way, and we have talked about the fifth idea (sponsorships) as a natural growth area for AdJungle. Maybe he's been eavesdropping on our lunch conversations... _________________ Brad Waller | VP, Business and Affiliate Development

It looks as though that site died. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Thanx for the link Wyvern... I often use the Web Archive to view sites that went missing.
I saved the site locally this time, so I can read it later... _________________ Eric D. Burdo

wyvern, I keep forgetting that old pages are archived. I remembered the URL of one of my old sites and found the pages. Very interesting that things that no longer exist, still exist. _________________ Bob |
