Hi all

I'm having troubles with DW and Frontpage - they're both giving me different HTML ... litterally! If I open any page in DreamWeaver it misses out the footer.shtml at the bottom, and is reflected on the site with the footer SSI missing! But when I open in FrontPage the footer include is right there in the HTML, so I upload it and no change!!

Funny thing is I only edited a few pages but the missing footer has been affected site-wide, so I'm assuming I may have edited the footer, but I can't see anything amiss... the footer include is missing from the HTML of all the pages when open in Dreamweaver... Have no idea what I did wrong!! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Cheers

One thing you need to do is edit pages in one editor only. Each editor has its own quirks. You didn't say which editor you originally created the pages in, but I would guess it was FP. Stick with the same one you created them in.

I sorted the problem out after much detective work,

It was an allposters.com "Dynamic" IFRAME thingy that was doing something funny... dont ask what as I've no idea, and I've moved it now, so all's showing as it should!

Thanks for your help anyways Debs!
