Hello all. I stumbled across on this forum from searching on Google, and I must say I couldn't be happier. It's refreshing to be able to talk to real people about affliate marketing... well, those that support what you're doing at least. In real life, my loved ones just don't share my enthusiasm. My husband thinks it's a 'scam', and my mom says it's stupid. So it's gotten to the point I don't talk to them about it... I just keep my goals/dreams of making big bucks as an affliate to myself.
But regardless of what anyone says, I believe in my heart that I can make this work. Ever since I read about it in the book, Multiple Streams of Internet Income, I knew I had to investigate further. So I joined Commission Junction, did a little bit of marketing here and there and earned a few hundred bucks. Granted, it's not enough to start an early retirement, but it has kept me motivated enough to keep trying
My family was the same way until I started bringing in the checks each and every month, now they are as excited as I am
Welcome to the forum, I am sure you will find lots of answers and support here. May I recommend that you register? With registration you get some added benefits, like having a signature file in your profile, being able to use the forum personal messaging (PM) system, etc.
It also allows others to put a bit of a name, even a pseudynm, to knowing you. Adds a personal touch
Best of luck,

Ask your husband if he thinks Amazon.com would be involved in a scam. Amazon was one of the pioneering companies in affiliate marketing. I can remember when I was starting out, working crazy hours and bringing in only $10 or $20 a month. A friend of mine thought I was crazy.
Have faith in yourself and your own abilities.
By the way, it's not a good idea to visit forums anonymously and drop in a mention of products. Some people will assume you're doing that as a sneaky way of promoting the product. _________________ Allan Gardyne
