Ok guys, I m DO it your self type... I was coding for my site and it looks great on 800X600 resolution but my tables goes out of control when the resolution is less than that. I looked up in anybrowser.com and confirmed there also...
any tips regarding this?
I also heard that there's script which loads the page according to the User's browser details.
I don't know about scripts, but you could use an X% size for the tables instead of fixed number of pixels. This way, the tables resize according to the size of the browser's window. If you have one main table, try using a width of 75 ? 90 %.
If you want a certain phrase to be written on a single line (maybe the title), use ?nowrap?
Be careful with "nowrap" because if the window downsizes enough, it pushes the table out of whack.
I agree a percentage table width is likely best if you want it to resize, you can also set percentages for the columns within the table, or set the table to percentage, side columns to fixed and leave the content width empty. That way the content column will take all the resizing in it and leave the rest.
