Post subject: First day - Ads are gone
|
|

Today was my first day with Adsense. In the first few hours I got 50 impressions and 5 clicks. Then the ads disappeared. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, do you know why?
BTW, the clicks weren't mine! |

Karen, don't panic. It is happening all over. Google does period stuff (who knows what) ... they did it last night and tonight for about 10 minutes or so ... at which time all ads, psas etc disappeared ... worse yet for a very short time js errors popped on visitors and visitors couldn't access the page to view until they clicked yes or no to debug ... bet that scared a few lol

| You're right. They reappeared. I was imagining all sorts of errors I'd made! Thanks so much. |

Hello all.
This is one of the potential downsides of any form of syndicated content - that is, content controlled by another web "master", if you ask me.
Whether it's Adsense or anyone else who fails to deliver, your visitor will no doubt blame you and your site - and maybe never come back. OK technical hitches are inevitable, but I like to control my own sites' content as much as I can.
Maybe that's just the control freak in me!
Cheers,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."
