When I logged in and put up my first post, it should my name correctly as "Bobby."

I just put up a new post "Clickbank Warning" and my name was shown as "Author" - did I do something wrong?

Bobby, Sorry. I'm as new to this board as you are. I hope someone more qualified will come to the rescue.

I registered, and I don't have to log in each time I revisit. The board remembers my name. Perhaps the problem has something to do with the security level settings on your computer?

I don't have to log in each time either - this must be a phpbb thing because it doesn't happen on other forums I visit. Maybe someone will explain.

Hi, Bobby...

Though I have nothing to do with the administration of this site, and though this is only my 2nd post, I thought I'd try jumping in to help anyway.

Try clicking the "log in" link at the top of the page. Perhaps your board settings are now set to recognize you each time you visit as a guest - if you log in, using the login you created when you chose "Bobby", and click the box to log you in every time, you should be good to go.

Of course, any expert advice would definitely be better than this, I'm sure!

Ok, once you've logged in, you will need to go to the profle link, make sure that the no check box is checked for hide my online status.

That should do it.
