Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum and really like it! I just launched my first "selling" site for my own product and I'd appreciate it if you guys could give me some feedback. You can find it here:

http://www.artofapproaching.com

Thanks!

First off, I wouldn't put any links at the top of the page, put them only at the footer. I am not sure I would put a link to your affiliate page at all. Don't give anyone incentive to steal earnings from another affiliate.

Second, who is Thundercat? If I buy an ebook, I want to know who I am buying from, a real name, not a handle. You should also include a phone number for customer service, as well as a physical address when you are actually selling online. Sales is not a place to hide Smile

Hi Debs,

Thanks for the critique. I have a question though:

If I don't put a link to my affiliate page on my site, how can affiliates sign up for the product?

Thanks!

If you are promoting through clickbank, you can get it listed in the Clickbank Marketplace. Also, people who know about affiliate programs and clickbank, will see your purchase via Clickbank on the page and know to go look for it.

Gary (speedguide) promotes his ebook via Clickbank and doesn't include anything re: affiliate promotion/signup on his sales page so that keeps the page focused to convert visitors to buying Smile The affiliate promotion should be totally separate and apart from your sales page.

If you really want to link to your affiliate signup page, you can do a sitemap and include the affiliate signup page on the sitemap, and include the sitemap in the footer of all your pages. But do keep the affiliate signup link off the sales page itself.
