Why dont we compile a post here with direct tips a newbie should follow for various topics - As in a step by step guide.
So if you have any useful info that can put into a step by step guide then post below and ill add it to this post in order to really help the n00bs

There are really quite a few posts already on the step by step processes to do a variety of things to get started. Of course, there are choices to make before you know which step to follow next.
The best advice I can give is to read over the forum, as well as Allan's newsletter archives, Ruperts experiences, and then decide what you would like to try, and go for it.
