Hi there,
We now have our data feed working smoothly in it's basic form so I'm now looking to add some view tracking features, but I have no idea how this is normally done with regards to affiliates! I have seen some talk somewhere (i cant remember where) of including a tracking image url or something.
Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have had experience with using data feeds, and tracking views of products. How do you normally set up the tracking for views? Do you prefer per-product view stats, per page, other?
Sorry for the vagueness, I'm not really sure what I should be asking. I would like to provide a way for affiliates to track which products are most viewed / clicked on, but have no idea how affiliates like to do it.
Any info or pointers in the right direction would be very much appreciated.
