How about travel-gym.com : Two keywords instead of one, and no wasted letters (the)?

Jerry,

Make your domain easy to remember.
You may add hypen instead, as suggested by Databasedesigner.

If you are having difficulty in composing your domain name,
you may use this tool to help create one. NameBoy will generate
domain names based on the keywords you enter.

Do not register your domain here. Its quiet expensive, just go to godaddy.com.

go to http://www.nameboy.com/

Hope this helps. Wink

Hi Jerry,

Just my thoughts.

You mention your first choice ' travelgym.com' as being taken. I think it would be worth checking if 'travelgym' is a trade marked term. If so, you would not be able to use any variation of the term even if you got the domain name.

If the above does not apply then if you use ' the-travel-gym.com', the Google will ignore 'the' and see the keywords in your domain name as 'travel' and 'gym'. Also, of course, ' travelgym.net' ' travelgym.info' etc. etc. should not make any difference to your ranking.

Personally, I would try and differentiate myself (sounds painful!) from any other site if possible, Travel-Gymnasiums-Guide' perhaps, Okay, you don't get your exact keywords but I don't think any of the engines put much weight to your domain name nowadays.

All the best,
Larry Chamberlain.

Even if travel-gym.com or travel-gyms.com is not in use, I think you set yourself up for a bit of a problem. While you want people to find you through search engines, if they remember "oh, yes that was the travel gym com site" and type it in as travelgym.com instead of travel-gym.com you've just lost repeat visitors..... nothing wrong with thetravelgym.com, or thetravelersgym.com or thebestgym.com etc, just ideally it's memorable and in my opinion nothing hard to speel liek traveljimnasium.com Embarassed Razz
