if you have experience with software testing, bugtracking and/or software development you might find it interesting.
turns out there are quite high biddings in overture for keywords like:
website testing - highest bidding $7.11
bug tracking - $17.15
software testing - $6.30
bug tracking software - $5.25
this means that biddings in google adwords can be pretty high for these terms also -> adsense.
you could build whole site on software and website testing, or implement a section dedicated for this, if you have programming and software development related website for example (btw software development has a bidding $4.50). i didn't check the situation with affiliate programs for this area, but adsense alone could bring in pretty nice revenue.
you could promote site like this in computer related forums, some of them are really big with more than 10 000 members.
why I don't build this site myself? i don't have enough time. I just got a new job, also I gotta finish university this spring and I already have 3 other projects in somewhat development, so I have enough things to keep myself busy for at least a year or two.

I dabble with a site concerning those topics. I think that is where most of my adsense income comes from, but I won't know for sure for a couple od days. _________________ Eric D. Burdo

Thanks for the pricey keywords.
I ran SBI on website testing - highest bidding $7.11
The numbers are
D = 0
S = 4632
P = 0
I would have ignored this keyword if it came up on the SBI Brain search list.
Do you know why a bid would get pushed up so high for a keyword set that doesn't have any requests on the major search engines?

My guess is that the top site in Overture for website testing", keynote.com, sells very expensive software and achieves a good return on its investment when it advertises. With very few people doing searches, it wants to be No.1 to guarantee attracting as many as possible.
I tried to find the price of its software on the site, but they want my contact details so that a representative can contact me. That's a sure sign of an expensive product.
When some phrases are used in search engines, there's an excellent chance that the searcher is serious and likely to buy.
A good example is "data recovery". When you want it, you want it right now. Someone is paying $5.26 on Overture for that today. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Hi Allan,
I got another thought from your post.
I assume SBI is correct. All the keyword numbers I'm pulling up related to "website testing" have very low to zero demand. That means people aren't finding these sites from those high-priced keywords.
Doesn't that also mean that those companies are paying nothing for them? Nobody searches with those keywords, so they don't get charged a click. I could bid on them for twice the price to just look more handsome.
Software Testing and Q & A is big business, but website testing software is an outgrowth of standalone software testing. Possibly the owners of these sites are using a term they think is a catch phrase with their customers that is instead only used by industry experts.
There are a group of sites that come up under "website testing" and ads with that keyword fill the right side.
It sure seems odd that nobody is looking for those products with that keyword.
Hope you're doing well,
