of course that is your content. You have good site, with good content, and contain value for viewer..you will get traffic. Besides, you also need good design, easy to load, and good navigate. If you have good content, no need to do SEO. ^^

Hmm... can't quite agree with you there.
If you have good content, complete onsite SOE and complete relevance to the search term you may have to do little offsite SEO - but most times you will still need some (links etc)

| Agreed with Allan, only links are not necessary. they should be do-follow and to get traffic social media marketing gives remarkable results. |

For good traffic you have do few things:
Good content in website.
It must be unique and real content.
Share your websites in search engines, social networking sites.
Well Optimized it with meta tags etc.

backlinks are the backbone of SEO. quality backlinks matters a lot in ranking.
