Hi, It seems kanoodle is no longer accepting affiliate site advertising. After sending them a mass submission I recieved this...

"...We cannot accept the listing you sent because the keywords refer to content found on an affiliate?s site and not on your site. If you were to change the URL to the affilate?s URL, you could bid on those terms. If you included ?find? or ?get? in your terms, or ?links? after each keyword, they could be accepted because that reflects the content on your site...."

When I mentioned that the same ads were accepted in December 03...

"...Our guidelines are evolving to provide a better user experience for both our consumers and advertisers. We began actively enforcing the changes to our guidelines last month. If you would like to read our current guidelines, please log into your account and click on ?Manage Listings?. You will notice that the look of your account has changed as well. Our guidelines can be found directly under the ?Add Listings? button..."

I'm not sure what to do next. I could go back and change all the urls to link directly to my affiliates, (tedious, and impossible with CJ links) or I could just dump kanoodle from my ppc campaign (to bad because they were a good source of traffic and I still have money banked with them). Opinions anyone?

Different markets, themes, sites, etc.. will have different results, but from my small test, kanoodle is not worth it.

Before I put major funds into a PPC search engine I always test with a small amount. I signed up with an account at Kanoodle and got a $10 bonus. So I let that run just to test it out....not one single new member for my website generated. So I ended up not even funding the account.

Running the exact same ads, and same exact same keywords on Google Adwords and Overture consistently results in a very very good ROI for me. Very pleased with Google and Overture. I put Google Adwords ahead of Overture..but both solid.

Kanoodle has a lot of affiliate fraud is my guess. I paid for 600 odd visitors to a site, no orders, nothin. I'm done with Kanoodle.
