I have been battling for nearly 6 months to get a refund for a product I bought from this company just prior to Mark Joyner selling the company.
The new owners are still trading with the existing name of the company but are not honouring past purchase refunds. I have had many "toothless" e-mails promising the refund is "in-the-mail" but after 6 months and many excuses, it has not materialised.
I took the advice of another contributor to this forum and warned the company that if I was not paid within 7 days I would be reporting them to
the Federal Trade Commission. They replied with yet another "promise" but did not respond in time - so I have now reported the company.
If any of you have had any similar experiences - please complain to the FTC as it will all help. Here's their link to the appropriate form:
Hello,
Is this a digital product, like an ebook? If it is, give them an ultimatum: Tell them you will begin reselling the product on Ebay at a substantially reduced price until you have recouped your losses. That might bring them around.
Next time someone doesn't honor their refund policy, file a complaint with your credit card company. They will work for you to make sure the situation gets resolved. But, you only have a 1 or 2 month window, so unfortunately, in your case it is probably too late for that.
