Internet marketing is a highly competitive niche, though it is a ever green niche. The other two ever green niches that are not affected by recession are heathcare and online dating. Select a product or service deep in these niches to avoid more competition as it will be very difficult to compete with well established players in these niches for highly competitive keywords. For example in online dating go for 'disabled dating' site instead of general dating site.
