Well, nofollow back links are not followed by search engines while dofollow links are followed by search engine this is the main thing on the other hand it is not much helpful in link building as well.

A nofollow backlink is one that the Google bots don not follow back to your website. Such backlink does not increase your rankings in the search engines. It is a hyperlink that eliminates the ability to pass on it's status page rank to other sites.

No follow links would have no effect on the page ranking.
nofollow attributes are pretty much for Google. Nofollow are useful only for traffic.

NoFollow backlinks is part of a natural linking campaign. I'm not saying you should go out and get 50/50 do/no follow backlinks, but yes of course they help making this look natural - which is what all logic tells ud that google is after. They will reward your site for getting nofollow backlinks as well..

Nofollow links are not crawled Google links,This links can not follow to Google crawler and back links are not followed by other search engines. but According to me this links are also helpful for getting traffic as well as PR.

Nofollow backlinks are the links that are not capable to pass down their PR to other sites. These links are prohibit in the pages of search engine. It is also a a further excellent way to build back links your website gets high excellent sources.

Nofollow links are not crewel in Google. Nofollow link only use in getting a traffic in website. Google not follow the nofollow link.

No follow links are just ignored by the search engine like google. But for other search engines it will effect good. It means a backlink which make traffic for you but google does not follow him.

A link is nofollow then Google can not look the link that is position on a site. Nofollow has been requested by search engine to block poor quality links and to decrease the effect of spamming links on the internet.
