Hi, helpful friends!
Today I've reached the point that I'm seriously considering paying 300 bucks for getting into the Yahoo directory.
However, I am unclear about what the best strategy is to follow...
Some questions:
1. Any tips on determining the most suitable (=profitable) category?
2. My site is on good customer service. However, one of the most succesful sections on my site is about help desk software, I test help desk software on a regular basis. Now, should I submit my top level domain, f.i. within category http://dir.yahoo.com/Business_and_Economy/Business_to_Business/
Corporate_Services/Customer_Service/
or help desk software tests within directory category http://dir.yahoo.com/Business_and_Economy/Business_to_Business/
Corporate_Services/Customer_Service/Software/Help_Desk/ ?
3. Any thoughts on title and description?
I have been searching the forum on Yahoo directory, but couldn't really find the answers on these questions, so any help is greatly appreciated!

At this time, Yahoo directory results aren't prominent in any results so "profitability" might be hard to determine.
However, you may only submit your "site" not an "url" within your site. If you view the Express Submit requirements, all references are to "site" not "url." And specific reference you must agree to includes that your site is not already listed in the Yahoo directory.
