|
So I just got started with Droid Generator and wondering if links in my apps will benefit me rank better in the search engines? ...
I get about 400 uniques p/d to my blog from the apps, but my real question is, because my i put a URL in my Android Market profile.. will that contribute to my SEO?
Thanks |

Search for the exact URL of the page your link is placed on.
Now does it appear in ANY search engine? Yes or No.
If it does and it is not nofollowed then there is potential SEO benefit. Given that your profile isn't one of many similar that is tripping some kind of Google filter. _________________

The Android Market web developers haven't an SEO clue in their thinking because they are relying on the apps being found only from within an Android device.
Added: I have blogged about it - it seems to have been a deliberate design decision to make the content invisible to search engines. Why else would all the app data be in a huge JavaScript on one page? Turn off JS and see the site for yourself. _________________ --

Android has native support for multi-touch technology was originally available in devices like the HTC hero. The feature was disabled initially kernel-level to possibly to avoid infringing Apple patent for touch-screen technology at the time. since then, Google has released an update for the Motorola Droid and the relationship that enables multi-touch natively. _________________ Relogio Technos |

| The Android market has been lacking in SEO applications. Android covers all the same ranking factors that the web version does. SEO has become a crucial part of online marketing. |
