Post subject: Stats: For People who don't think Adsense Pays
|
|

I started with Adsense in the Summer of 2003.
These are my June Earnings Per Click Averages... by website. And yes I have a lot of sites, and no I do not use Adsense on every site. That's right I have a niche site paying on average $3.22 per click. And my worst... absolute worst average per click niche site is 20 cents per click! So if you don't think Adsense is worth promoting then you clearly don't have any idea how to do it.
There is a lot of misinformation about how to properly leverage Adsense. So focus on the niche and target your keywords! And I do not use more than a maximum of 2 ad blocks... and usually just one per page. And don't put ads on every page just because you can. That's how you get the highest earning potential out of the Advertisements in each block.

I get money from them every month and try to get at least on ad on every page. I think it the niche site is even better if you use channels and your Ad Review Center.
I only allow certain ads on my sites "I have a lot of them too" when you get enough impressions you get higher dollar advertisers wanting to get on your site. _________________ Life is Good,OleTom

In the past I just focused on subjects I knew something, invariably they would be very low paying keywords. Now one of top criteria for a site is the higher paying keywords. You can always do research on subject you don't know anything about. _________________ Razorbumps

There is really no such thing as a higher paying keyword... if you think there is then you are doing it wrong.
Many newbies target words like Mesothelioma or DUI Attorney thinking they are going to get big bucks when and if they get clicks.
Sadly it is not true. If your site has no authority with Google you may get a penny for a click for which they collect $10... assuming the advertiser isn't smart enough to opt out and the next lowest click isn't so much lower that the payout/charge drops accordingly.
What you need to do is TARGET NICHES just like any other affiliate opportunity and choose niches that are in industries where Advertisers are willing to spend to acquire new customers or have products and services for sale with large profit margins.
Again you may think you can just choose keywords... but that doesn't mean that Google will send ads to your site that match those keywords then pay you a large amount unless you have AUTHORITY.
And most people willing to spend $10 per click on Adwords are looking for a solid return on their investment... your made for Adsense Site isn't it! So they will likely just opt out of the content network and those ads will never appear on your site anyways.
Focus on the Niche and make your site count!
People who think all you do is throw up 50 sites that make $1 a day each clearly do not have a real business plan and are not creating the Value and Authority that Google and advertisers want.
My sites that pull in the big bucks are well established, some of them over 10 years old and are respected and ranked by Google.
Good luck. _________________

Not going to publish my adsense stats here because it seems to be against the TOS of adsense, but i can support the fact that you can make a really decent income with adsense if you focus _________________ Free Marketing Videos

Google is fine with people talking about Gross Earnings. I do not disclose niches, traffic, eCPM, Clicks, or Page Impressions.
"Confidentiality. You agree not to disclose Google Confidential Information without Google's prior written consent. "Google Confidential Information" includes without limitation: (a) all Google software, technology, programming, specifications, materials, guidelines and documentation relating to the Program; (b) click-through rates or other statistics relating to Property performance in the Program provided to You by Google; and (c) any other information designated in writing by Google as "Confidential" or an equivalent designation. However, You may accurately disclose the amount of Google’s gross payments to You pursuant to the Program. Google Confidential Information does not include information that has become publicly known through no breach by You or Google, or information that has been (i) independently developed without access to Google Confidential Information, as evidenced in writing; (ii) rightfully received by You from a third party; or (iii) required to be disclosed by law or by a governmental authority."
But you are right...Better safe than sorry. _________________
