A tag cloud is a visual representation of the tags on a website. The tags are usually listed alphabetically and the font size or color is used to show the relative importance of a label or a tag is a keyword or descriptive term often used to describe a content item .

A tag is a keyword or descriptive term often used to describe a piece of content. For example, an article about World of Warcraft could have the tags "World of Warcraft" and "MMORPG", as these tags properly categorize the subject of the article.

The 'tag cloud' on this webpage shows the tags related specifically to your region. The size of the tag text in the cloud graphic relates to the number of stories that have been published related to that particular tag. A tag cloud contains the most popular tags, independent of the element (e.g. blogs, wiki article, documents, etc.) they belong to.

A tag cloud contains the most popular tags, regardless of the element they belong. The tag's unique tag cloud can be clicked and get the results displayed. In fact, I find my tag cloud quite handy because it lists all my tags on a page, and I can see what topics I post in most cases very easily.

Labels on a blog is often presented as a position on the list, like in a way that the categories of a blog. A more effective way of using labels are present as a tag cloud. Which is a collection of labels arranged so that the most used and most important tags are great, but any impact is minor compared to the size of the source.
