I've been tossing around the idea of outsourcing all aspects of earning income through affiliate programs on my websites. I have a number of good websites that get decent traffic, and I'm doing virtually nothing with affiliate programs. Does anyone else here outsource this kind of stuff? I don't see much of a downside to it, since you can't get much worse than earning nothing, LoL.

What I was thinking was that since using affiliate programs is a weak point with me, I should get someone to work with me who is strong in that area, and maybe isn't so strong where I excel (for example, in getting up lots of websites with tons of content). I wonder if someone would want to do that for a split of whatever revenue is created?

Dunno, just a thought, any comments?

Hi Peter,

Interesting idea.

If you can find yourself a partner who is able to moneyitze (spelling) content that you produce it could be a profitable deal, I suppose.

You could produce a page and say " Get the cash from that".

and/or

S/he could supply the keywords/topics and say "Get the words around that"

Undoubtedly you would learn from each other, so after time the partnership may not be needed.

All the best,
Larry Chamberlain.

It would be simpler just to ad AdSense code to each page if your sites are suitable.

Yea, I use Adsense too. I also sell advertising, sell products and services, traffic, ecommerce, and whatever else. I have 65 or so websites now, with tens of thousands of pages of content, so there's room for everything. Wink I don't want to depend on any one source of revenue, especially something like Adsense where you can get kicked out of the program without notice. I've always been interested in affiliate marketing, but just never seem to be able to 'get it' in practice. I've been doing a lot of outsourcing with other aspects of my business recently, and just thought it would make sense to outsource this too.

Wow! I'm impressed. What type of content tough? Tens of thousands of articles you wrote yourself? Articles from other content providers? Do you have a staff of a hundred writers? Or do you consider a page in a forum a "content page"?

Regards,
Yaron

Each site has a different topic, travel, small business, energy, natural resources, high tech, law, and others. Mostly serious topics. No, I didn't write tens of thousands of pages myself, the content comes from every source you can imagine. I also do a lot of outsourcing. I consider a content page to be anything that gets indexed in Google and brings me traffic, whether it has ten words or a thousand. My Small Business Forum has over ten thousand pages indexed in Google, for example (Associate Programs has about 1500, btw). Wink
